Prof Deepak Gupta is a distinguished Neurosurgery expert with over 24 years of experience in India. He serves as a professor at Department of Neurosurgery, AIIMS New Delhi. Prof Deepak Gupta separated first craniopagus conjoined twins successfully for India in 2017 and later in Africa Ghana. He has recently done awake craniotomy surgery on a 5 yr old child- the world youngest child. He is the first PHD from Dept of Neurosurgery at AIIMS. He has been instrumental in adressing knowledge gaps amongst clinicains on brain death and organ donation. He has written 370 papers, 3 books including book on Brain death organ donation.
